Torex Semiconductor XCL108 Inductor Built-in Step-Up DC/DC Converters

Torex Semiconductor XCL108 Inductor Built-in Step-Up DC/DC Converters feature ultra-low power and an ultra-compact package ideal for battery-powered electronic devices requiring an extended battery life. These modules provide a space-saving, inductor built-in structure with extremely low quiescent current of only 400nA, significantly improving efficiency compared to conventional DC/DC converters at light loads, particularly at output currents of a few µA. By adopting a PWM/PFM control method, high efficiency is possible in any current range, eliminating the need for complex on/off control, even when the boost operation is always running. This design greatly reduces power consumption in devices with high system standby rates, which helps to extend battery life and reduce battery capacity/size.

The structure of Torex XCL108 Inductor Built-in Step-Up DC/DC Converters saves development time and minimizes the wiring pattern on the printed circuit board, reducing noise radiation from the current loop. The XCL108 is housed in a CL-2025-02 package (2.5mm x 2mm x h1.04mm) with an operating ambient temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
