Texas Instruments SN74LV595A/SN74LV595A-Q1 8-Bit Shift Registers

Texas Instruments SN74LV595A/SN74LV595A-Q1 8-Bit Shift Registers are designed for 2V to 5.5V VCC operation. The devices contain an 8-bit serial-in, parallel-out shift register that feeds an 8-bit D-type storage register. The storage register has parallel 3-state outputs. Separate clocks are provided for both the shift and storage register. TI SN74LV595A/SN74LV595A-Q1 shift registers are fully specified for partial-power-down applications using Ioff. The Ioff circuitry disables the outputs, preventing damaging current backflow through the devices when powered down. The SN74LV595A-EP devices have gold bond wires, a temperature range of –55 to +105°C, and an SnPb lead finish. The SN74LV595A-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
