Texas Instruments TUSB422 USB PD TCPCi 포트 컨트롤러는 USB Type-C 에코시스템에 필요한 구성 채널(CC) 로직으로 USB Type-C 포트를 구현합니다. 이 포트 컨트롤러는 USB BMC 전력 전달(PD) 프로토콜의 물리적 계층을 통합하여 최대 100W의 전력을 허용하고 대체 모드 인터페이스를 지원합니다. USB TCPM(Type-C Port Manager)을 포함한 외부 마이크로프로세서는 I2C 인터페이스를 통해 TUSB422와 통신합니다. TCPM의 제어에 따라, TUSB422는 CC 핀을 사용하여 USB 타입 C 전류 모드를 위해 포트 연결 및 분리, 케이블 방향, 역할 감지 및 포트 제어를 결정합니다. 애플리케이션에 따라 TUSB422를 DFP, UFP 또는 DRP로 구성할 수 있습니다. TUSB422는 규격에 맞는 USB Type-C 포트의 구현을 위해 VBUS 감지 및 방전을 구현합니다. TUSB422는 2.5W 스위치를 통합하여 활성 케이블을 위한 VCONN 전력을 제공합니다. 또한, 이 장치는 VCONN 방전 기능을 제공합니다. TUSB422는 오디오 및 디버그 액세서리와 같은 USB Type-C 옵션 기능도 지원합니다.
