Texas Instruments LMK03318 초저잡음 PLLatinum™ 클럭 생성기는 VCO가 통합된 1개의 분수형N 주파수 합성기를 내장한 클럭 생성기입니다. 또한, 이 생성기에는 유연한 클럭 분배/팬아웃 핀선택형 구성 설정을 칩 상의 EEPROM에 저장하는 기능이 있습니다. 이 장치는 다중 클럭을 생성할 수 있으므로 다양한 수 기가비트급 직렬 인터페이스 및 디지털 장치에 사용할 수 있습니다. 다중 클럭을 생성함으로써 BOM 원가 및 보드 면적을 줄이고 안정성을 개선할 수 있으며, 이는 여러 개의 발진기 및 클럭 분배기 장치를 대체할 수 있기에 가능한 것입니다. 지터가 극히 낮으므로 고속 직렬 링크의 비트오류율(BER)이 줄어듭니다. 대표적인 애플리케이션으로는 스위치 및 라우터, 네트워크 및 통신라인 카드, 서버 및 스토리지 시스템, 무선 기지국 등이 있습니다.
