STMicroelectronics VNH5xx VNH7xx Automotive H-Bridge Drivers

All switches are designed using STMicroelectronics well known and proven proprietary VIPower® M0 technology that allows to efficiently integrate on the same die a true Power MOSFET with an intelligent signal/protection circuitry.

These packages, specifically designed for the harsh automotive environment, offer improved thermal performance thanks to exposed die pads. Moreover, their fully symmetrical mechanical design allows superior manufacturability at board level.

Evaluation Boards

STMicroelectronics offers a number of different evaluation boards and development tools for use with the VNH Automotive H-Bridge Drivers. They are each preassembled with the specific high-side driver.

STMicroelectronics EV-VNH7070AS/EV-VNH7100AS/EV-VNH7040AY Evaluation Boards connect STMicroelectronics® VIPower® M0-7 H-Bridge drivers into existing prototype circuity. These boards come preassembled with either a VNH7070AS, VNH7100AS or VNH7040AY H-Bridges. An on board minimum set of electrical components allow for directly connecting the load, power supply and microcontroller without any additional effort in external component design and connection.

STMicroelectronics EV-VNH5050A/EV-VNH5180A Evaluation Boards are an easy way to connect ST's surface mounted VIPower® H-Bridge drivers into existing prototype circuitry. This evaluation board comes preassembled with VNH5050A-E or VNH5180A-E high-side drivers. These evaluation boards are a system-in-package H-Bridge manufactured in the ST proprietary VIPower M0-5 technology and housed in the PowerSSO-36 package.

These evaluation boards come pre-assembled with either a VNH5019A, VNH5050A or VNH5180A H-bridge belonging to the VNH Motor Driver series based on VIPower® proprietary technology.
