SiTime SiT5346 Endura™ Ruggedized Super-TCXOs
SiTime SiT5346 Endura™ Ruggedized Super-Temperature-Compensated Crystal Oscillators (TCXOs) are designed for aerospace, defense, and high-reliability applications that require precision timing under sustained environmental stress. These Endura-family ruggedized super-TCXOs deliver ±100ppb over-temperature stability from -40°C to +105°C, a ±1ppb/°C frequency slope (ΔF/ΔT), and 1.5×10-11 ADEV at a 10-second averaging interval in a 5.0mm x 3.2mm 10-pin package. DualMEMS™ temperature sensing and TurboCompensation™ maintain stability under airflow, thermal gradients, vibration, shock, and EMI.
Acceleration sensitivity reaches as low as 0.004ppb/g (typical), reducing phase noise under vibration by up to 20x compared to quartz and minimizing link and call drops in high-vibration platforms. Power-supply noise rejection of 0.2ps/mV eliminates the need for a dedicated LDO, while I2C digital frequency tuning corrects board-level frequency shifts. The SiTime SiT5346 undergoes 100% Endura process screening and meets MIL-STD-55310 and MIL-PRF-883 requirements with 1 billion-hour mean time between failures (MTBF) and a lifetime warranty.
Factory programmability supports frequencies from 1MHz to 60MHz, supply voltages of 2.5V, 2.8V, 3.0V, and 3.3V, and pull ranges from ±6.25ppm to ±3200ppm, eliminating quartz-related lead times and per-configuration NRE. Stability grades of ±0.1ppm, ±0.2ppm, and ±0.25ppm are available across -20°C to +70°C, -40°C to +85°C, and -40°C to +105°C temperature ranges. LVCMOS or clipped-sinewave output optimizes EMI and jitter performance for each system design.
