ROHM Semiconductor BD9x Integrated MOSFET DC-DC Buck Converters
ROHM Semiconductor BD9x Integrated MOSFET DC-DC Buck Converters are synchronous buck switching regulators with built-in power MOSFETs. These ICs provide currents in a range from 1A to 6A. ROHM BD9x DC-DC Buck Converters deliver fast transient response by employing a constant on-time control system. This allows high oscillating frequency at low inductance. The devices employ an original constant on-time control method that provides low consumption at light load. This feature makes these devices ideal for equipment that demands minimal standby power consumption.
ROHM now offers new energy-saving DC-DC converter ICs in the TSOT23 (2.8mm x 2.9mm) package. These converter ICs deliver an output current of 1A to 3A. This reduces component area by up to 72% compared to the general SOP-J8 package (4.9mm x 6mm), contributing to the miniaturization of power supply blocks. A flip chip on lead frame TSOT23 package design enables high-efficiency operation by eliminating bond wire resistance.
