NXP PCA9956B 24채널 LED 드라이버는 I²C버스로 제어되는 정전류 드라이버이며, 57mA RGBA LED용 밝기 조절(디밍) 및 깜빡임 효과(블링킹)를 위해 설계되었습니다. 각 LED 출력에는 31.25kHz에서 작동하는 자체 8비트 분해능(256단계)의 정주파 개별 PWM 컨트롤러가 포함되어 있으며, 듀티 사이클은 0%~100% 사이에서 조절 가능하므로, LED를 특정 밝기로 설정할 수 있습니다. 추가로 8비트 분해능(256단계)의 그룹 PWM 컨트롤러가 있으며, 이 컨트롤러는 정주파 122Hz도 가능하고 범위 내 조절이 가능하며, 주파수 조절은 15Hz 간격으로 매 16.8초마다 조절할 수 있으며, 이 때 듀티 사이클은 0%~99.6% 범위에서 조절할 수 있고, 이 조절값 하나로 모든 LED에 대해 밝기 조절과 깜빡임 효과 조절이 가능합니다.

  • 24 constant current output channels can sink up to 57mA, tolerate up to 20V when OFF
    • Output current adjusted through an external resistor (REXT input)
  • Open/short load/overtemperature detection mode to detect individual LED errors
  • 1MHz Fast-mode Plus compatible I²C-bus interface with 30mA high drive capability on SDA output for driving high capacitive buses
