Nisshinbo NA2100 Voltage-to-Frequency Converter
Nisshinbo NA2100 Voltage-to-Frequency Converter is a CMOS-based voltage-to-frequency converter (VFC) that operates on a single supply of up to 5.25V. The Nisshinbo NA2100 includes an internal 2.5V bandgap reference and supports an external reference voltage up to VDD. The full-scale output frequency is synchronized with the clock signal on the CLKIN pin. The NA2100 has a maximum input frequency of 1MHz, with the output frequency ranging from 10% to 90% of fCLKIN for analog input signals varying from 0V to VREF.Features
- Contributes to the reduction of microcontroller ports per 1-wire serial output
- Isolated transmission is easily possible by using isolators
- Frequency (digital) output resists noise and can be transmitted over long distances
- Functions as a simple AD converter
Applications
- Simple isolated transmission
- Simple AD converter
- Temperature controller
