Nichicon aluminum electrolytic and polymer capacitors are ideal for AC to DC converters, DC filtering, and lighting applications. High voltage and high ripple current snap-in capacitors can be used for primary filtering while low impedance and high capacitance surface mount and polymer capacitors can be used for secondary side filtering. Nichicon's long life, high reliability, and smaller sized leaded aluminum capacitors can be used for lighting applications.
