Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MID04W0503A DC/DC Converters

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MID04W0503A DC/DC Converters are regulated converters that support 4.5V to 5.5V input voltage (Vin) range. These DC/DC converters feature excellent load regulation and line regulation and support up to 0.4W of output power (POUT). The MID04W0503A DC/DC converters provide high reliability compared to isolated power modules. These converters operate at -40°C to 125°C operating temperature range. The MID04W0503A converters integrate a power MOSFET, transformer, and feedback (FB) circuit all in one chip. These converter's full protection features include Short-Circuit Protection (SCP), Over-Current Protection (OCP), and Over-Temperature Protection (OTP).

The MID04W0503A converters require a minimal number of readily available, standard external components and are available in a low-profile, wide-body SOICW-16 package. These devices are ideal for industrial automation systems, isolated sensor power supplies, telecom and network devices, and isolated bias power for RS-485, RS-422, and CAN interfaces.
