MikroElektronika MIKROE-2806 벅 부스트 Click™은 고효율 벅 부스트 DC-DC 컨버터입니다. 이 컨버터는 벅 부스트 DC-DC 변환 집적회로인 LTC3129-1이 특징입니다. 이 벅 부스터 컨버터는 독점 스위치 제어 알고리즘을 통해 입력 전압으로 출력 전압 조정 기능을 유지할 수 있습니다. 벅 부스트 Click은 이른바 PWM 모드와 버스트 모드라는 두 가지 작동 모드를 제공합니다. Mikroe-2806은 수확된 에너지 및 태양광 패널 포스트 레귤레이터/충전기를 위한 레귤레이터와 포스트 레귤레이터에 사용됩니다. 이 컨버터는 충전식 배터리, 출력 전압 레귤레이터 및 무선 저잡음 애플리케이션에 활용됩니다.The Mikroe Mikroe-2806 Buck-Boost click offers two different modes of operation, PWM and Burst Mode, depending on the nature of the application. The PWM mode can be selected by setting the PWM pin of the mikroBUS™ socket to a logic high level and is suitable for working with higher loads connected to the converter output and when extremely low output noise is required. When the PWM mode is selected, LTC3129-1 has a fixed nominal switching frequency of 1.2MHz using an internally compensated average current mode control loop. In this mode, the ripple and the noise level of the output voltage are minimal.
For high-efficiency operation at light loads, automatic Burst Mode operation can be selected, reducing the quiescent current down to 1.3µA. Burst mode can be chosen if the PWM pin is set to a logic low level. If the connected load is light enough, the converter will remain working in Burst mode, running only when necessary to maintain voltage regulation. Otherwise, the PWM mode will be automatically engaged, providing enough current for the connected load.
The Buck-Boost click completely powers itself from the VIN external power supply terminal. Once the power is applied to the VIN terminal, the circuit also has to be enabled by setting the RUN pin routed to the RST pin of the mikroBUS™ socket to a high logic level. This will power up the converter, which will be indicated by the PWR LED indicator. It also includes additional features such as a power-good output with a Power Good LED indicator labeled as PGOOD that pulls to the ground when FB drops too far below its regulated voltage. This pin also can sink up to the absolute maximum rating of 15mA when set low.
