Mikroe EPOS Module Click

Mikroe EPOS Module Click is a compact, low-power modem add-on board for EPOS terminals and telephone-based systems. The Mikroe EPOS Module Click is powered by the CML Micro CMX869B v.32 bis modem, supports various communication protocols, and includes features like DTMF encoding/decoding and a Powersave mode to reduce energy use. It offers a reliable, isolated telephone interface via the P1200 transformer and connects to the host MCU through a standard 4-wire SPI interface with line status indicators. Ideal applications include EPOS terminals, telephone telemetry, remote utility meter readings, security, and industrial control systems.
