Microchip Technology RN4678 PICtail™/PICtail Plus 도터 보드를 사용하면 Bluetooth® Classic SPP 및 Bluetooth LE(Bluetooth Low Energy) 애플리케이션을 위해 빠르게 프로토타입을 제작하고 개발할 수 있습니다. 듀얼 모드 Bluetooth RN4678 모듈이 있는 이 개발 보드는 Bluetooth Core Specification 4.2를 준수합니다. RN4678 모듈은 UART를 통한 간단한 명령 인터페이스를 사용하여 연결됩니다. 이 보드를 사용하면 두 가지 다른 방식으로 RN4678을 평가하고 Bluetooth LE 애플리케이션을 개발할 수 있습니다. RN4678 PICtail / PICtail Plus 도터 보드는 별도의 설정 없이 바로 온보드 MCP2200 프로토콜 컨버터를 통해 UBS-직렬 기능을 사용해 온보드 RN4678 모듈과 통신할 수 있습니다. 보드를 PC에 연결하면 보드가 CDC(Communication Device Class) 직렬 장치로 표시됩니다. 개발자는 터미널 프로그램을 통해 사용법이 간단한 명령 집합(제공됨)을 사용하여 모듈을 구성 및 제어하고 데이터를 전송할 수 있습니다. RN4678 PICtail / PICtail Plus 도터 보드를 Microchip Technology Explorer 16 개발 보드(DM240001) 또는 PIC32 스타터 키트 I/O 확장 보드(DM320002)에 꽂을 수도 있습니다. 그런 다음, 사용자는 PICtail 또는 PICtail Plus 인터페이스를 통해 UART를 거쳐 RN4678 모듈에 직접 연결된 호스트 MCU(사용자 자신이 선택한 MCU)에서 펌웨어를 개발할 수 있습니다.

The Microchip Technology RN4678 PICtail / PICtail Plus Daughter Board can also be plugged into the Microchip Technology Explorer 16 Development Board (DM240001) or the PIC32 Starter Kit I/O expansion board (DM320002). The user can then develop firmware on the host MCU of their choice interfaced directly over UART to the RN4678 Module via the PICtail or PICtail Plus interface.
