Microchip Technology MCP2221 I2C 데모 보드는 MCP2221 USB - I2C/UART/SMBus 프로토콜 컨버터의 기능을 탐색하기에 적합한 출발점입니다. MCP2221 I2C 데모 보드를 사용하는 개발자는 MCP2221 소자를 USB - I2C 마스터 컨버터(브리지)로 사용하여 I2C 슬레이브 장치에 연결된 PC 애플리케이션을 통해 통신할 수 있습니다. 뿐만 아니라, 사용자는 동일한 MCP2221 보드를 사용하여 USB - RS-232(UART) 브리지를 만들 수 있습니다.

The Microchip Technology MCP2221 I2C Demonstration Board (ADM00678) features a pre-installed MCP2221 in a TSSOP-14 package, along with a PIC16F1509 Microcontroller, and additional support components.

특징

  • Real-time monitoring and logging:
    • Current and power consumption of a USB device, using the PAC1710 current, voltage, and power sensor
    • Ambient temperature, using the MCP9808 temperature sensor
    • Voltage level recorded by the MCP3221 12-bit analog-to-digital converter
  • Performs measurements for resistors or capacitors using the MCP2221’s analog-to-digital converter and general purpose input/output pins
  • Configuration and control of up to 8 GPIOs, available from the MCP23008 I/O expander, as well as continuously monitoring the state of the pins
  • PIC16F1509 configuration to issue multiple warnings, through an RGB LED, when any of the featured readings are outside user-set conditions
  • Configuration and other data stored in on-board 24LC128 128-Kbit EEPROM
  • Output voltage level control of the MCP4726 digital-to-analog converter
  • Allows creation of USB-to-RS232 bridge
  • Allows creation of USB-to-UART bridge
