Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated DS3231M I²C Real-Time Clock

Analog Devices DS3231M is the industry's first temperature-compensated Real-Time Clock with an internal MEMS resonator. This Analog Devices low-cost, extremely accurate I2C RTC incorporates a battery input and maintains accurate timekeeping when the main power to the device is interrupted. The DS3231M provides timekeeping accuracy of ±5ppm (±0.432 second/day) from -40ºC to 85ºC and complete calendar functionality, including seconds, minutes, hours, days, dates, months, and years with leap-year compensation. The DS3231M includes two time-of-day alarms and features 1Hz and 32.768kHz outputs. This Maxim Integrated RTC is optimized for power meters and industrial applications and reduces crystal mechanical failure susceptibility.
