Laird Technologies EMI Absorbers

Laird Technologies EMI Absorbers are offered in two types: magnetic and foam. The magnetic EMI absorbers are thin (0.1mm to 3mm) polymeric materials filled with magnetic particles. This process results in high permeability and high permittivity, which are both effective in eliminating high-frequency EMI. Laird Technologies foam EMI absorbers are based upon open-celled foam impregnated with a carbon coating. This process makes the resultant product lossy at microwave frequencies and acting as a free space resistor to incoming electromagnetic energy. These foam products range from 3.2mm to 6.4mm.
