Kinetic Technologies KTS1672 VBUS Current-Sink Protection Load Switches
Kinetic Technologies KTS1672 VBUS Current-Sink Protection Load Switches are designed for USB Type-C™ PD ports and barrel connectors. The switches handle up to 100W at 20V and tolerate up to 29V on VBUS. The Kinetic Technologies KTS1672 switches feature soft-start, over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, over-temperature protection, and reverse current blocking. The automatic reverse-current blocking acts as an "ideal diode," isolating VBUS when charging or powering through another port. The soft-start function limits inrush current when large output capacitors are present. An ACOK flag signals when power is stable. The KTS1672 comes in a 2.18mm x 1.64mm 12-bump WLCSP package.
