Microchip Technology KSZ8864 4포트 스위치는 설계가 최적화되고 여러 기능이 탑재된 상태로 제공되는 고집적 계층 2 매니지드 스위치로서 소형 패키지로 제공됩니다. KSZ8864는 온칩 종단 장치가 있는 비용에 민감한 10/100Mbps 4포트 스위치를 위해 설계되었으며 소비 전력이 낮아 시스템 비용을 줄일 수 있습니다. 이 스위치는 1.4Gbps 고성능 메모리 대역폭, 공유 메모리 기반 스위치 패브릭을 가지고 있고 전체 비차단 구성으로 되어 있습니다. KSZ8864는 전력 관리, 프로그래밍 가능 속도 제한 및 우선 순위 비율 지정 같은 여러 가지 강력한 기능을 제공합니다. 태그/포트 기반 VLAN, 패킷 필터링, 서비스 품질(QoS), 4개의 큐를 이용한 우선순위 지정, 관리 인터페이스 및 MIB 카운터 같은 다른 기능도 있습니다.

The KSZ8864 contains four MACs and two PHYs. The two PHYs support the 10/100Base-T/TX. All registers of MACs and PHYs units can be managed by the control interface of SPI or the SMI. MIIM registers the PHYs can be accessed through the MDC/MDIO interface. EEPROM can set all control registers by the I2C controller interface for the unmanaged mode.

The Microchip Technology KSZ8864 4-Port 10/100 Managed Ethernet Switch is offered in a compact QFN-64 package and is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
