Maxim MAX14940 20Mbps 반이중 PROFIBUS/RS-485 송수신기는 2500VRMS(60s)의 갈바닉 절연을 제공하는 절연 RS-485/PROFIBUS DP 송수신기입니다. 이러한 절연은 장치의 케이블측(RS-485 드라이버/수신기측) 및 UART측 사이에 적용됩니다. 이 절연에 의해 접지 루프가 차단되어 통신 성능이 높아지며, 포트 사이의 접지 전위에 큰 차이가 있을 경우 잡음을 줄여줍니다. 이 장치는 최대 2Mbps 속도에서 안정적인 통신을 지원합니다. 외부 변압기를 사용하는 송수신기의 케이블 측에 전력을 전송하는 통합형 450kHz 변압기 드라이버가 장치에 포함되어 있습니다. 통합 LDO는 절연 DC/DC 전원 설계 간편하고 공간 효율적 방법을 제공합니다.
