AL-D8 Lightning Surge Protectors

L-Com AL-D8 Lightning Surge Protectors provide superior protection of DC control lines from transients and surges. These protectors limit the positive voltage swing on the line to the TVS Diode voltage rating unit. The AL-D8 protectors will protect 8 individual single-ended DC control lines. These AL-D8-24DCW and AL-D8-48DCW surge protectors incorporate uni-polar Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) diodes rated at 1500W. The AL-D8 protectors feature a weather-resistant housing with a lockable hinged cover, and mounting holes are provided on the rear of the enclosure. The two cable grommets may be adjusted to cable size and are removable. These protectors are also available in 5V, 12V, and 48V versions. The AL-D8surge protectors are ideal for DC control lines and industrial control line applications.
