MPQ7231 Infrared LED Lighting Drivers

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ7231 Infrared LED Lighting Drivers offer fixed-frequency, constant-current, and Infrared (IR) LED drivers with integrated eye safety features. These LED drivers feature a 6V to 42V operating input voltage range and are ideal for driving one or two IR LEDs. The MPQ7231 LED drivers are configured to buck or buck-boost mode and achieve up to 3A and 2.4A of peak current (ILED_PEAK), respectively. These drivers use advanced BCD FET technology to minimize ohmic losses to provide ultra-low on-resistance MOSFETs with 44mΩ (HS-FET) and 40mΩ (LS-FET). Typical applications include Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), IR illumination for automotive cameras, and surveillance systems.
