Overview
EV/HEV Traction Inverters
The traction inverter controls the traction electric motor in EV/HEVs. The inverter minimizes conduction losses and switching losses at high- and low-current. During regenerative braking, the inverter plays an important role in transferring energy from the generator back to the battery.
Electrically-Driven A/C Compressors
Hybrid electric and fully electric vehicles with no permanent running engine require an electric powered air-conditioning system. onsemi's power solutions enable ease-of-assembly, space savings, and high efficiency for the application.
EV/HEV OnBoard Chargers and DC-DC Converters
Onboard chargers recharge the battery in electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles. The converters must have high efficiency and power density to keep the weight low.
