Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVL28600-TF-00A Evaluation Board

The Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVL28600-TF-00A Evaluation Board demonstrates the capabilities of the MP28600 ultra-low-quiescent-current synchronous boost converter. EVL28600-TF-00A operates with input voltages from 0.7V to 5.25V and provides a regulated 5V output. The board helps engineers evaluate startup performance, efficiency, and power conversion in low-voltage designs.

The MPS evaluation board showcases pulse-skip mode, automatic transitions between boost and down modes, and true shutdown disconnection. EVL28600-TF-00A achieves up to 93.8% typical efficiency and includes circuitry for measuring load capability and transient response. Typical applications include wearable devices, portable electronics, low-power wireless products, memory LCD bias supplies, and battery or supercapacitor charging systems.
