Cree LED XLamp® MHD LEDs
Cree LED XLamp® MHD LEDs are built using Cree's high‑reliability ceramic‑package technology. These high‑power LEDs are able to operate at higher temperatures than mid-power (MP) LEDs with no reduction in rated lifetime, allowing a 60% reduction in heat sink size. Cree LED XLamp MHD LEDs are optimized to simplify LED system designs for directional and semi‑directional applications using fewer LEDs than MP LEDs to achieve the same performance.
